We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing, approving, and finalizing building applications in line with applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and approve building applications in accordance with relevant regulations and codes
- Provide expert advice to clients on building code and legislative matters
- Develop quotations based on client requests
- Conduct construction inspections, complete reports, and keep clients informed of progress
- Attend project meetings and take required actions
- Review certificates for compliance
- Assist with training junior staff
Requirements
- Registered Building Surveyor (Level 1 or Level 2) with experience in commercial projects
- Good knowledge of the NCC, relevant state legislation, and the certification process
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and accurate reports
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization skills
- Valid driving license and own vehicle
