We are seeking a highly skilled Streaming Manager to join our team at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the curation of main page and Adults content on ABC iview.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Curation: Optimize curation by frequently reviewing ABC iview content mix, informed by performance analysis and programming priorities.
- Content Planning: Manage and drive the daily creation and implementation of plans, including maintenance of ABC iview planning documents, launch publishing and metadata entry, to optimize search and personalization.
- Content Optimization: Utilize rails, rail titles, playlists and other levers to curate collections and audience offerings, prioritizing content in line with content strategy.
- Metadata Management: Optimize metadata to constantly improve personalization connections, and work with Metadata & Platform team to continuously improve functionality and efficiency.
About You:
We are looking for a Streaming Manager with significant knowledge and skills in program scheduling, rights, and operational requirements. You will have exceptional experience implementing distribution procedures and programming strategies.
Requirements:
- Expert Analysis: An expert ability to analyze complex information and research and compile information of a specialist nature.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to communicate both written and verbally in a clear and concise manner.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated significant team leadership experience with ability to mentor and motivate staff.
- Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to provide effective operational support whilst working within a deadline.

- Competitive Salary: $117K to $129K plus 15.4% ABC Nominated Super Fund.
