Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Team Leader to join our team at Schnitz. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading by example, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Assist the Management Team in training and mentoring Team Members;
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance Team Member skills and knowledge;
  • Store Operations
    • Run shifts, including opening and closing the store, to ensure seamless operations;
    • Oversee station management to ensure efficient service delivery;
    • Assist with stock takes and processing deliveries;
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests;
    • Address and resolve customer queries or complaints in a timely and professional manner;
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate Team Members to achieve their full potential;
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback;
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in end-to-end shift running, stock-takes, and ordering goods;
    • Experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the food service industry;
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills;
    • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring high-quality food products;

    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
