Job Title: Cafe Support Staff

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team as a cafe support staff.

The role involves assisting with basic cafe operations, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Taking orders and preparing beverages such as coffee, tea, and smoothies.
  • Preparing and serving food items such as sandwiches, salads, and pastries.
  • Operating the cash register and handling cash and card transactions.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing the cafe, including tables, chairs, countertops, and equipment.
  • Restocking supplies such as napkins, cups, and utensils.
  • Assisting with food preparation and cooking.
  • Communicating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized storage area for supplies and ingredients.
  • Following health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
