Installation and Maintenance Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrading and modifying telecommunications sites, including mobile and broadcast infrastructure.
- Ensuring safe working practices at heights and installing antenna systems, RRUs, feeders, and microwave links.
- Designing and erecting steelwork, monopoles, towers, etc., for both greenfield and brownfield sites.
- Performing PIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault, terminating feeders, bird-proofing, and waterproofing connectors.
- Installing and maintaining antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towers.
- Ensuring equipment is checked, maintained, and operated in accordance with safety procedures, efficiency standards, and calibration requirements.
- Providing rigging and general work services as required by the company.
- Conducting site constructability inspections to identify potential issues and scope changes.
About You
- Proven experience in telecommunications rigging with a current Certificate in Rigging (Basic minimum).
- Knowledge of earthing requirements and tower rescue certification.
- Ability to comfortably operate at heights regularly (up to 80 meters) with previous climbing experience essential.
- Solid knowledge of telecommunication rigging techniques and best practices.
- RadHaz EME Awareness.
- MR or HR License preferred.
