Job Title: Pool Safety Supervisor

This role involves overseeing the safety and good conduct of swimming pool users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the pool area to prevent potential dangers and respond to incidents.
  • Conduct regular cleaning duties as directed by the Swimming Pool Manager.
  • Patrol the poolside, changing and ancillary areas ensuring a safe environment for all users.
  • Report immediately to the Swimming Pool Manager any defects, hazards or deficiencies that may render equipment/areas unsafe.
  • Effect prompt Rescue/Resuscitation First Aid using Royal Lifeguard Saving Society UK taught standard emergency procedures.
  • Ensure correct setting up and taking down of equipment for efficient activities programming.
Requirements:
  • Maintain an acceptable level of physical fitness.
  • Compile swimming pool usage logs as required.
  • Collaborate with the Swimming Pool Manager on timing of repairs and specific requirements.
  • Adhere to a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance while wearing RLSS uniform when on duty.
  • Participate in annual mandatory training sessions.
Essential Qualifications:
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
  • Strong Communication Skills.

BPSS Basic.
