Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Platypus Brisbane Mall store. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales and Operations: Ensure efficient operation of the store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
- Motivate and Develop Team Members: Motivate your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores. Coach and mentor team members to maintain high team morale and encourage individual development.
- Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets. Identify areas of missed opportunity and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Manage Wage Costs and Rostering: Effectively manage wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
- Ensure OH&S Compliance: Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.

Requirements:
- Experience and Skills: Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC. Proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Operational Excellence: Experience with stock control and visual merchandising, with a focus on operational excellence.
