Job Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the frontline delivery of the Mechanical Engineering Control Plan.
  2. Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical apparatus, adhering to Australian and mine industry standards.
  3. Work collaboratively with the CHPP team to achieve asset management and production objectives.
  4. Contribute to our proactive safety culture by participating in and adhering to established protocols.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter/Boilermaker)
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting
  • Familiarity with various equipment types, including crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, and industrial pumps
  • Strong commitment to personal and team safety
  • Ability to follow plans and adapt to challenging environments
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to contribute to a winning team
