We are seeking an experienced Treasury professional to lead the development and execution of funding and liquidity strategies for a high-performing organisation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in senior Treasury roles, with broad exposure across funding, securitisation, and balance sheet management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Funding and Liquidity Strategies: Lead the development and execution of funding and liquidity strategies, including securitisation programs and alternative structures.
  • Balance Sheet Management: Manage balance sheet risk, including interest rate and maturity mismatches, within risk appetite.
  • Investment Portfolio: Oversee the investment portfolio, asset allocation, and surplus funds.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with APRA Prudential Standards, RITS/Austraclear operations, and ALCO reporting.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks across market, liquidity, and funding, collaborating with Risk and Compliance teams.
  • Treasury Systems: Enhance treasury systems, processes, and policies in line with business scale and regulatory expectations.
Requirements:
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in senior Treasury roles within banking or financial services.
  • APRA Prudential Standards: Deep understanding of APRA Prudential Standards, ALCO reporting, and regulatory expectations.
  • External Engagement: Experienced in engaging with external funding markets, regulators, and executive leadership.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic thinker who brings rigour, resilience, and stakeholder influence.
  • Fitness and Properness: Meets APRA Fit & Proper criteria for a Responsible Person.
