We are currently seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accounting Professional to join our team on a 4-month maternity leave cover.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the end-to-end process for periodic swap and loan payments, including valuation updates, securing necessary approvals, uploading payment details, and ensuring timely authorisation and release.
- Monitor and update daily cash flow positions, maintaining clear and prompt communication with the treasury front office team.
- Evaluate and accurately maintain foreign exchange rates within the ERP system.
- Execute a range of treasury transactions such as interbank transfers, placement and recall of deposits, foreign exchange settlements, and dividend distributions across various entities.
- Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations using the Blackline platform to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the upkeep and optimisation of treasury and banking systems, contributing to system integrity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address treasury-related queries and ensure smooth operations.
Your Background:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Finance.
- CPA or CA certification required.
- Experience in a corporate treasury or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting, tax, and legal aspects of treasury.
- Proficiency in treasury systems and derivative pricing is highly advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
