Mental health inpatient care requires a comprehensive approach. Our team aims to be consumer-focused and recovery-oriented, providing services in various settings including community, acute inpatient units, hospitals, and emergency departments.
Our ServicesThe Mackay Hospital and Health Service operates six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services, and four community health centres, employing over 3,700 staff. The district covers approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in several locations.
The role involves leading a dynamic healthcare environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
