General Medicine Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Trainee Registrar to join our team in General Medicine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing their practice through exposure to a diverse case mix in a supportive environment under the supervision of a collaborative unit of Specialists.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Participating in the provision, development, and maintenance of an effective, efficient, and equitable clinical service to hospital clients;
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of medical education and dissemination of knowledge to staff and clients;
  • Working closely with and learning from a wide array of Specialists with an extensive breadth of expertise;
  • Developing the clinical leadership skills required to practice as an RACP Fellow.

Benefits of the position include:

  • Remuneration value up to $172,342 p.a. comprising salary between $4,966.90 p.f. - $5,758.70 p.f. (L4-L9);
  • Superannuation - up to 12.75% employer contribution;
  • Annual leave loading (on four weeks leave) - 17.5%;
  • Professional development allowance;
  • Professional development leave 1.6 weeks p.a.;
  • Employee assistance and peer support programs.

Requirements:

  • Qualification from a registered tertiary institution;
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate;
  • Successfully completed the RACP written and clinical examinations or equivalent with RACP certification.
