Job Description:

The role of a skilled Veterinary Nurse is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our veterinary practice.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking various nursing tasks, including pre- and post-operative care, animal pathology, emergency, and critical care. Your ability to perform minor procedures when required will also be an essential part of your duties.

Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene throughout the practice, including surgical areas and equipment, will be expected of you. Additionally, handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email, or over the phone will be an important aspect of your role.

You will also be required to assist with administration duties as needed, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service are essential qualities we look for in our ideal candidate.

Requirements:
  • A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years experience with competency in all areas of nursing
  • The ability and eagerness to mentor and guide junior nurses
  • A friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with Rx works is preferred but not essential
