Veterinary Care Professional

This role requires a dedicated and compassionate veterinary nurse to work in our busy emergency department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team of veterinarians and nurses to provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients. This will involve assisting with anaesthesia, procedures, and surgery; performing diagnostic sample collection and processing tests; and communicating with pet owners to provide guidance and support during emotionally challenging times.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to ongoing learning and professional development. As part of our team, you will have access to regular tutorials, continuing education support, and daily rounds to ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and advancements.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients
- Assisting with anaesthesia, procedures, and surgery
- Performing diagnostic sample collection and processing tests
- Communicating with pet owners to provide guidance and support
- Qualified Cert IV veterinary nurse with at least 2+ years' experience, ideally in emergency or a busy GP clinic
- Motivated, conscientious, and enthusiastic individual
