Team Leadership Role

As a Team Leader in Covert Analysis and Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in developing people, managing change and influencing behaviors that lead to a supportive culture. Consistent with AFP values, leadership philosophy, organisational reform agendas, corporate business plans, and Performance Development Agreement, the expectation is that Team Leaders deliver on core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position.

The role includes:

  • Mentoring and developing members to enable mastery, teamwork, and purpose
  • Driving innovation and promoting continuous improvement through effective change management
  • Prioritising and ensuring that the team delivers on agreed outcomes
  • Developing strategies to appropriately identify, balance, and work within the AFP risk framework
  • Working with Executive and broader leadership to deliver enterprise effect
  • Providing valued input on the business area's strategic vision

Key responsibilities include:
