Quality Assurance and Compliance Leader

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Leader to oversee the quality of pre-packaged products.

This key position plays a vital role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards before reaching customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee site quality operations, guiding staff development.
  • Drive food safety and quality expertise, providing direction.
  • Manage export compliance requirements.
  • Execute Quality Engagement plans through on-site activities.
  • Ensure adherence to operational hygiene standards.
  • Maintain and update Quality Management System changes.
  • Investigate and address food safety and quality risks.
  • Coordinate HACCP teams and necessary risk assessments.
  • Conduct audits for compliance and customer standards.
  • Monitor and address customer and consumer complaints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the food industry with Quality Systems, including HACCP.
  • Strategic leadership skills with proven qualities.
  • Knowledge of dairy export requirements.
  • Logistics/Transport experience beneficial.
  • Attention to detail and results-driven approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety and/or Training and Assessment desirable.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and numeric communication skills.
  • Self-disciplined and capable of managing workloads and deadlines.
  • Empathetic and able to interact with everyone at all levels.
