Insurance Claims Assessor

This role involves assessing damaged motor vehicles to enable quality repairs at competitive prices and timely turnaround. As an Insurance Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for quantifying and assessing insurance losses, monitoring the quality and timeliness of motor vehicle repairers, and delivering exceptional customer service.


The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in motor assessing, panel beating, spray painting, and/or motor mechanic, as well as experience quoting damaged vehicles. Outstanding customer service skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are also essential for this role.


As an assessor, you will be part of a mobile workforce deployed across Queensland, equipped to operate from various locations. You will be provided with a fully maintained and fueled tool of trade vehicle, RACQ uniform, comprehensive training, and required IT equipment.
