In this role, you will manage property and contents claims, focusing on complex cases that require a nuanced understanding of legal processes and construction terminology.
Your expertise will help our members navigate the challenges of total loss and major loss situations, where properties are severely damaged or destroyed. Collaborate with various parties, including policyholders, legal teams, contractors, and adjusters, to gather necessary information and facilitate the claims process.
Review and interpret scopes of work, ensuring a thorough understanding of the distinctions between building components.
Utilise systems such as ENData, Claims Centre, and Genesis to manage claims effectively.
Assess claims from initial lodgement through to resolution, maintaining clear communication with members and stakeholders.
About You: Significant experience in managing major loss claims.
A solid understanding of the claims process and the legislation surrounding it, with a keen eye for detail.
Confidence in navigating complex situations and providing guidance on scopes of work.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to balance empathy with professionalism.
Familiarity with claims management systems is preferred, particularly Endata, Claims Centre, and Genesis.
