We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team at Peter Mac in Bendigo. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients with cancer.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art radiation therapy department. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology, including Varian Truebeam Linacs, AlignRT and Eclipse treatment planning system, to treat a wide variety of cases.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver radiation therapy treatment using ionising radiation in accordance with the treatment prescription and in accordance with all Peter Mac protocols and policies.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, radiation oncology medical physicists, and radiation oncology nurses to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new protocols and procedures.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on radiation therapy treatment and side effects.

- Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and holds a current Victorian Radiation Use License.
