About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Injury Management Specialist. This role will play a critical part in ensuring safe and sustainable return-to-work outcomes for injured colleagues.

As an Injury Management Specialist, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide specialist injury management support, manage workers' compensation cases, and develop effective return-to-work strategies.

The successful candidate will have minimum 3 years' experience in workers' compensation and injury management in WA, strong knowledge of WA Workers' Compensation legislation, and excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing workers' compensation and injury management cases
  • Developing and implementing return-to-work strategies
  • Collaborating with insurers, healthcare providers, and rehabilitation specialists
  • Providing specialist training, coaching, and consultation to site leadership and teams
  • Maintaining accurate injury management records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in workers' compensation and injury management in WA
  • Strong knowledge of WA Workers' Compensation legislation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, OHS, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Nursing, or a related health science field (highly desirable)
