Mental Health Nursing Transition Program

Alfred Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team and transition into a Mental Health Nursing role through our Switch program. This program provides the necessary training and experience for Enrolled Nurses to develop the skills and knowledge required to work in Mental Health.
Key Responsibilities- Develop skills in risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning, and knowledge of Mental Health nursing care and practice
- Work under the guidance of a Clinical Educator to develop Mental Health Nursing knowledge and skills
- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse
- Australian working rights
- Full Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination
- Ability to work on a rotating shift work roster
- Portable long service leave from other public health services
