Mental Health Nursing Transition Program

Alfred Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a transition to mental health nursing role. This position offers a unique opportunity for General Nurses to gain experience and skills in mental health nursing, with support and guidance from our experienced team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop skills in risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning, and knowledge of mental health nursing care and practice.
- Work in a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment, with regular professional supervision and development opportunities.
- Be involved in an innovative mental health program that is making a real difference in the community.
- Contribute to the operation of services that focus on people with severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.

What You'll Need- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
- Australian working rights (Visa holders, please upload your visa and passport with your application).
- Full Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination.
- Be willing to undergo a Background Check.
