The Role

As an Aged Care Service Leader and Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to clients, promoting a positive workplace culture, and contributing to our mission. You will lead a team, providing supervision, coaching, and setting clear expectations for best practice.

Your key duties include:

  • Leading, advising, and supervising workers and other direct reports to embed person-centred practice and deliver safe supports that enable clients to work towards their individual goals.
  • Supporting clients and their families in planning, coordinating, and facilitating regular team meetings and required client-specific training, with an emphasis on person-centred goals and outcomes, reflective practice, and managing risk.
  • Ensuring clients' personal care, support, and health needs are met and provided within applicable standards for the relevant service stream.
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS AND SERVICES OFFERED BY THE PROGRAM ARE PROMOTED POSITIVELY TO CLIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE COMMUNITY.
  • Managing the running of services, including managing service budgets, program development and compliance, report and record keeping, and vacancy management.
Skills and Experience

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Previous experience in aged care case management highly desirable.
  • Diploma in Community Services/Disability or equivalent.
  • Leadership experience in a human services organisation.
  • Knowledge of funding standards, guidelines, and legislation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and computer skills for the creation of plans, programs, reports, and correspondence.
  • High level communication, influencing, liaison and negotiation skills.
  • Established problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to obtain an NDIS workers screening card and working with children check.
  • Ability to obtain and pass a police check.
Salary and Benefits

This salaried position is remunerated at a level 4.1 under our EBA, which is $47.49 per hour. In addition to competitive wage rates, you will receive two weeks paid parental leave, thirteen weeks long service leave, plus PBI packaging benefits of up to $15,900.
