Job Title: Front of House Officer

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a face-to-face environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve participant matters by actioning planning tasks in line with relevant legislation
  • Provide counter support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and online platforms
  • Resolve customer enquiries, provide information and/or refer customers to appropriate government or community services
  • Coordinate appointments with the use of Agency facilities
  • Undertake research and investigation activities and prepare associated reports and correspondence

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within a customer service environment, ideally within a Government setting
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • A strong interest or previous experience with the Disability Sector would be advantageous
  • An understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability is highly desirable
