About the Role:

  • Provide support, supervision, and coaching to the team of Therapeutic Youth Workers
  • Manage and maintain rosters and appropriate staffing levels
  • Day-to-day coordination of the care of children and young people
  • Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of documentation, plans, and reviews
  • Ensuring quality life story work by the Therapeutic Youth Workers
  • Managing informal and formal complaints and feedback
  • Ensuring mandatory internal and external reporting occurs

About You:

We are looking for someone with relevant management experience of children and young people in out of home care who have a disability and/or complex care needs due to trauma-based backgrounds. You will also have experience managing staff who regularly face crisis situations in the course of their work.
