Job Overview

As a refurbishment expert, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality property upgrades through our Vacate to Occupy (V2O) unit turnover process.

You will work closely with communities to develop detailed project scopes, oversee refurbishments from start to finish, and ensure each upgrade meets exceptional quality standards.

Utilizing your technical expertise and estimation skills, you will review and assess contractor quotes using our internal systems.

This role requires strong technical knowledge combined with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of multiple unit refurbishment projects.
  • Manage refurbishment budgets and commercial outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, contractors, consultants, approval authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide scope and defect training and support to Village Managers and Sales professionals.
  • Oversee contract preparation, compliance, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
  • Experience in project and/or construction management, building, property, or insurance assessment.
  • Proven success managing refurbishments, renovations, or new-build projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets.
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
