We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at a Southern TAS hospital. As part of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services in accordance with relevant standards and principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will deliver nursing care to consumers based on best practice principles, focusing on person-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed care within a collaborative framework.
  • Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, active therapeutic engagement, monitoring, and review of mental state and response to treatments, ongoing psychotherapeutic work using various modalities and techniques within a multi-disciplinary team.
Essential Requirements:
  • Mental health nursing experience is essential for this role.
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse is required.
