The Mental Health Inpatient Unit is a specialized care service for adults with serious mental illness. It operates within the Statewide Mental Health Services' Acute Care Stream, providing support across multiple locations.

This unit is situated in the Royal Hobart Hospital's level 2 and 3K West, offering a unique environment for patients to receive comprehensive care.

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as Clinical Nurse Consultants - Navigators (Mental Health). As a key member of the unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and contributing to the development of innovative services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice models to enhance patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mental health nursing
  • Proven track record of leadership and clinical expertise
