About Our Community Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our community team as an Associate. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members and guests, providing a positive and warm experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.
The main duties of the role include:
- Member Experience: Greet members and guests at the front desk, deliver excellent customer service, anticipate member needs, facilitate warm introductions, collaborations and engagement through relationship building initiatives, get to know our members, understand how we can support them and their companies, member onboarding, solve member-related issues, and notify the Community Manager of any possible changes to memberships.
- Events: Support in the creation and distribution of events posters, assist with set up and pack down of events, assist preparation weekly member breakfasts, Friday night drinks and other ad-hoc community-based events, take ownership of events as part of the Community Team, and attend community and Member events.
- Operations: Adhere to direction from the Community Manager, assist with daily scheduling of tasks and duties, onboard and off-board all members and companies, maintain accurate internal databases, ensure accuracy of the Member/Doggo Directory, assist with management and reporting of IT tickets, send notifications as required, set members up on printers, provide basic IT troubleshooting, ensure empty offices and desks are clean and tidy, and deliver incoming mail to members.
- Facilities Management: Ensure the building is well presented and fully operational, report maintenance issues, assist with resolution, assist with regular building checks, maintain cleanliness, monitor levels of stock and inventory, order consumables, complete regular audits of storage areas, report cleanliness concerns, and complete weekly fridge clean and monthly pantry clean.
- Work Health and Safety: Conduct and maintain safe work practices, ensure compliance with WHS standards, communicate and educate members and team members to ensure a safe environment.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of customer service experience, 1 year of administration experience, and Australia work authorisation. They will be a good team player, able to multitask, have a 'can-do' attitude, be adaptable, and have experience with G-Suite, Canva, and Slack.
