Job Title: Proposal Writer

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a skilled proposal writer responsible for writing, managing and submitting bids/proposals. The ideal candidate will be experienced in bid management including bid writing and presentation of high-quality documents.

The successful candidate will have excellent time management, attention to detail and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels of personnel and communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, manage and submit bids/proposals
  • Review and edit bids & pricing proposals
  • Track and maintain prequalification/panel/supplier arrangements across the business
  • Coordinate, organise and gather information from technical and commercial teams and key stakeholders to prepare bids/ pricing proposals
  • Maintain Bid & Tender 'content library'
  • Preparation of presentations and content for client post-tender meetings

Requirements:

  • Logistics and/or International Freight Forwarding experience preferred
  • Previous experience in bid management including bid writing and presentation of high-quality documents
  • Commercial and Financial experience
  • Effective listener and communicator with the ability to work across different levels of personnel
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills with the ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite

About You:

We are looking for a versatile self-starter with a proactive, professional, and creative approach. If you have previous industry knowledge in Intl Freight or Supply Chain Operations, this would be highly regarded.
