Job Overview

This role provides the first point of contact for patients at our medical clinics, managing client interactions and correspondence with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet clients, manage phone calls and messages, book appointments, and maintain calendars efficiently.
  • Ensure all correspondence related to GP referrals is scanned and filed accurately in patient charts.
  • Exercise discretion when handling sensitive patient information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
  • Be willing and able to undertake a Certificate III Business Administration qualification.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, under guidance or direction, and within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prior experience working with culturally diverse people is highly regarded.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly when interacting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hold a current and valid National Police Check.
