Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at WorkFocus Australia.
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals to achieve their wellness and recovery goals. You will work closely with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to design and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake assessments to develop and implement rehabilitation plans that promote functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
- Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance and work capacity.
- Identify barriers and design programs to support individuals to achieve maximal work participation.
- Understand healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
- Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Qualifications and relevant professional registration in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology (AHPRA, ESSA).
- Willingness to learn and positively impact individuals' lives.
- Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
- Commitment to a high level of customer service.
- Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle).
- Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
