Lead Electrical Systems Engineer

We seek a highly skilled Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for next-generation defence platforms.

  • Conduct end-to-end systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, safety assessments, verification & validation, and compliance reviews.
  • Contribute to and manage delivery of engineering documentation (DIDs), ensuring alignment with customer and legislative requirements.
  • Evaluate delivered systems against customer expectations, identify risk, and contribute to mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical oversight to subcontractors including C4 systems providers within the Electronic Architecture domain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence design outcomes, and support junior engineering staff.
About You
  • Degree-qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience delivering complex electrical engineering outcomes within defence or similar regulated industries.
  • Sound understanding of military standards, power distribution, and safety compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to operate in a high-tempo environment with precision and accountability.
