This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain and monitor water treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs and water reticulation assets to ensure a safe and reliable water supply for the community.
  • Participate in the construction and repair of water reticulation and sewer reticulation assets to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Carry out routine water quality tests and keep accurate records of results to inform future maintenance activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and plant operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
