About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood professional to join our team as an Assistant Director at Goodstart Joondalup. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team and take on the responsibility of Centre Safety Champion
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Requirements:

  • A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience with leading and managing change within education, health, or community services
  • Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
  • Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
