Australian Women's Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to join hospitals and healthcare services across Australia in the capacity of Registered Midwives. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postnatal recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, high-quality care in line with NMBA standards, policies, and legislation
- Support women and families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal recovery
- Promote and support breastfeeding, providing education and guidance where needed
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Actively participate in ongoing education, reflective practice, and quality improvement activities
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience
- Recent experience across antenatal, birth suite, and postnatal settings
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience supporting women and families with diverse cultural and social needs
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and on-call
