Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Labourer to join our client's site in Yandina, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling timber frame and truss panels, as well as structural components, in a factory setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble timber frame and truss components according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Accurately measure, cut, and align materials for assembly
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards
  • Perform manual handling tasks including lifting and moving heavy materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements

To be considered for the role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or timber frame manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
  • Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy components
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
