Job Description
The Role

We are seeking a motivated General Labourer to join our client's site in Yandina, QLD. As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for assembling timber frame and truss panels, as well as structural components, in a factory setting.

What You'll Do

As a General Labourer, you will be required to carry out (but not limited to) the following:

  • Assemble timber frame and truss components according to technical drawings and specifications
  • Accurately measure, cut, and align materials for assembly
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards
  • Perform manual handling tasks including lifting and moving heavy materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines

Your Skills and Experience

To be considered for the role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or timber frame manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
  • Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy components
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
