Job Overview

This senior-level position involves the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of Next Generation 911 (NG911) Call Handling Equipment at various customer sites across Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot NG911 equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and workstations.
  • Conduct site surveys, asset management, and infrastructure deployment.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, and vulnerability patching in Windows, Linux, and 3rd-party systems.
  • Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, customer support, and training.
  • Maintain documentation, open/track trouble tickets, and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams, project managers, and R&D specialists.
Requirements
  • Must be based in Melbourne with the ability to travel as required.
