Our goal is to provide exceptional facilities management services that support the success of our institution.

The Facilities team is responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of our buildings. This includes managing maintenance contracts, conducting condition audits, and providing technical support for various projects to meet strategic goals and legislative requirements.

We are seeking a skilled Technical Manager to play a pivotal part in supporting our Buildings & Maintenance Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and administering maintenance contracts
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Providing technical advice for both minor and capital projects
  • Assisting in the completion of condition audits and the preparation of preventative maintenance plans

This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure our infrastructure meets strategic goals and legislative requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in a relevant building-related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in building maintenance services within large facilities
  • Solid understanding of maintenance procedures
  • Experience in managing and administering Australian Standard Contracts
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems
