This role celebrates Australia's pub culture and ensures our stories are told with impact. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Custodianship of The Pass brand
  • Group-wide communications across PR, media, and corporate messaging
  • Strategic communications calendar development and management
  • PR agency management for venue launches, renovations, and consumer-facing initiatives
  • Media enquiries, crisis communication, and executive-level responses

You will collaborate closely with marketing and executive teams to ensure AVC's voice is clear, consistent, and engaging.

We seek a natural storyteller with strong writing, media, and content creation skills who can manage multiple channels, platforms, and stakeholders with confidence.

About the Role:

  • Liaise with PR agencies to deliver coverage for venue launches and renovations
  • Develop and manage a strategic communications plan
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency across all channels and audiences
  • Manage media enquiries and respond professionally and promptly

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in communications, PR, or brand management
  • Natural storytelling ability with strong writing, media, and content creation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple channels, platforms, and stakeholders with confidence
  • Strong crisis communication skills and a strategic mindset
