Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in a KFC restaurant located in Queensland, Australia.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will assist the Restaurant General Manager in creating a positive work environment for all Team Members.

  • This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities

Manage Daily Operations

You will assist the Restaurant General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations including:

  • Crew Management: Assist with supervising and motivating a diverse team of Crew Members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food served meets high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Support Restaurant Growth

You will also support the growth of the restaurant by:

  • Developing New Skills: Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge to enhance job performance and contribute to the success of the restaurant.
  • Improving Processes: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a Quick Service Restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Diplomacy: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
