As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Diligent, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of our global applications. You will work with a global team of SREs to reduce toil by measuring repetitive tasks and automating them where possible. Strong communication skills are required as you will collaborate with multiple development teams to implement efficient procedures.

You will maintain and support global applications running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Kubernetes. Additionally, you will provide support for multiple Diligent datacenters and deployments in the Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP). Your responsibilities will include supporting development teams on monitoring, scalability, and reliability, contributing to incident management and response efforts, defining automated playbooks, and improving application performance and availability.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Systems administration experience (Linux or Windows or Cloud)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or related containerization software
  • Knowledge of configuration management, release automation, and orchestration technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Good working experience with a wide range of technologies, frameworks, and platforms such as AWS Cloud, Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes
