About this Job

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our scalable systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer changes in production environments, improving operational health and reducing downtime.
  • Lead on-call activities, collaborating with teams to recover systems and analyze post-mortems.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure seamless releases and change planning.
  • Contribute to operational improvements through enhanced monitoring and automation.
Requirements:
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Shell, Python, or Perl.
  • Knowledge of OS, Networking (Linux, TCP/IP, HTTP, Socket, VPN, Firewall), and Monitoring (Splunk, Dynatrace).
  • Experience with Oracle Database and SQL, Java preferred but not required.
  • Project management, large project support execution, or team leadership experience ideal.
  • Help desk or customer contact skills desired.
