Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Professional to provide individualized support services for clients with disabilities.

You will play a vital role in empowering clients to build skills, confidence, and independence by developing personalized plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

This may involve supporting clients with daily living activities, encouraging independence through engaging experiences, and fostering positive relationships with clients and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, be adaptable and resilient when working with diverse backgrounds, and be able to prioritize and problem-solve under pressure.

Duties:
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with daily living and medical needs where required
  • Encourage skill-building and independence through various activities such as cooking, crafts, music, sports, and reading
  • Deliver in-home and community-based support tailored to individual client goals
  • Establish positive, respectful relationships with clients and their families
  • Manage challenging situations with empathy, patience, and effective problem-solving skills
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable, resilient, and confident supporting people from diverse backgrounds
  • Able to prioritize and problem-solve under pressure
  • Flexible availability (shift work, weekends, public holidays)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence, Working With Children Check, and NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check
