We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Nurse Specialist - Haematology

Role Overview: This position involves providing specialist haematology nursing support for patients undergoing treatment for haematologic malignancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored patient education, clinical coordination and assistance with procedures.
  • Support the current CNS2 and contribute to care coordination within the haematology team.
  • Coordinate outpatient clinic appointments and treatment for rural patients attending clinics in Bathurst, Cowra, and Parkes.
  • Provide supportive care and follow-up to ensure continuity of care for patients with low-grade haematologic malignancies.

Qualifications include a Registered Nurse qualification.

About The Role

This role is part of the haematology team, including consultants, advanced trainees and pharmacy as well as the inpatient HOPS (Haematology, oncology and Palliative) team. As a Nurse Specialist - Haematology, you will be part of a team providing high level complex care coordination to our patients.
