Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our technical services team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud-enabled applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable. This involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, identifying and implementing enhancements to optimize system performance and maintainability, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-enabled applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Identify and implement enhancements to optimize system performance and maintainability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:
You will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, you should have demonstrated expertise in cloud technologies and the ability to design, develop, and deploy applications using native services, serverless frameworks, and containerized environments. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure and platforms (AWS, Azure) is also essential. Proficiency in Linux and server system administration is required, as is expertise in MS SQL, Git Hub, GitHub actions, Argo CD for CI/CD pipelines, and code scanning tools (Veracode, Code QL).

A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development is required, with experience in working and delivering outcomes in large-scale technology project initiatives being highly desirable. Familiarity with aviation and crew rostering and flight scheduling is also a plus.
