At UnitingCare, we offer a Case Manager role that enables you to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. This position is the first point of contact for families accessing our service, providing counselling and case management support to victims of non-violent property crime across Queensland.
Job Description:
This Case Manager will be responsible for assisting families to access support services, including practical and crisis support where necessary, and providing follow-up as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist families to access support services and provide follow-up as required.
- Provide relevant assessment, counselling, and therapeutic support services to individuals.
- Contribute to the implementation and evaluation of programs and plans for the delivery of the service across the State.
- Undertake assessments, case manage, referrals, and case reviews for a range of clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- an Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or other Human Behavioural Science discipline
- demonstrated experience of working within the community sector to support vulnerable individuals/families and a demonstrated ability to apply a range of theoretical approaches relevant to working with individuals.
- sound knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to utilize, therapeutic processes and practices, including the ability to analyse, evaluate, and make objective judgments and recommendations.
- a Current Qld Drivers Licence
- a Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
