Aviation Maintenance Manager Role

We are seeking experienced Aviation Professionals to lead a maintenance team in support of the Apache flying program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a team, monitoring the Apache flying program, and allocating aircraft to sorties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a maintenance team to enable maintenance outcomes that support serviceability and online metrics for the Apache flying program.
  • Monitor the Apache flying program and allocate aircraft to sorties ensuring assigned aircraft are correctly prepared configured equipped and replenished.
  • Coordinate aircraft replenishment and maintenance in support of the flying program manage the flying aircraft and set priorities for daily maintenance requirements.
  • Release aircraft to operators complying with Maintenance Organisation Release and Dispatch to Operator functions provide technical assistance to aircrew in relation to aircraft acceptance and release.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Test Flight activities manage aircraft Rate of Effort ROE to ensure aircraft meet their respective maintenance plans monitor the flight line for safe operations during fueling and flying operations invoke the Emergency Response Plan as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in maintenance coordination or a similar role with aviation.
  • Experience working with maintenance management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal communication leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high tempo operating environment.
  • High level of computer literacy experience working in a safety-critical environment.
