Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced facilities manager to oversee a diverse property portfolio and deliver both day-to-day operational excellence and long-term strategic improvements.

The successful candidate will lead the transition from manual tracking to a more efficient maintenance management system, while fostering strong relationships with contractors, service providers, and internal teams.

This role offers a mix of on-the-ground operational work and forward-looking strategic initiatives, making it ideal for a hands-on leader who can also drive change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large portfolio of properties to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-presented.
  • Lead the implementation of a new maintenance management system to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster strong relationships with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to deliver excellent service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve facilities management processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in facilities and asset management across large, multi-site portfolios.
  • Proven track record in implementing systems or process improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaborative leadership style.
  • Empathetic, positive, and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within Queensland and interstate as required.
